CONE SHAWARMA

Image
CONE SHAWARMA Cone shawarma is a malabari evening snack / an iftaari dish during ramadan. Dont expect this recipe to be  an original arabic shawarma πŸ™ŠπŸ™ŠπŸ™…. Sorry for the name ( even i have no idea how it was named so πŸ˜†). But i'm sure that once you try this recipe you will obviously love it ( then who cares the name😬). The difficulty level of this recipe is medium. Mainly it has two procedures. 1) make chicken filling . This is the easiest part of the this recipe. Just cook chicken ( can take 250 gms of boneless chicken ) with some spices & mix with raw finely chopped veggies  & mayonnaise. 2) making cones. This is a step by step process. Knead a dough as usual & make small balls from it . Roll it , cut it into strips , wrap it into the cone & deep fry it. ( refer the pictures below to make perfect cones).I have used a cone shaper but if u dont have cone shaper u can fold aluminium foil into cone shape & then wrap it with dough.  Do try this recipe &

EASY CRISPY BAJI

EASY CRISPY BAJI Beef pakoda / beef baji is a crispy, meaty & spicy snack which is very simple & easy to prepare. This recipe comes in handy if you have any leftover beef from curry or if you are cooking beef for making any other dish like cutlet & all , just take 1/2 cup of cooked beef from it & store it in fridge so that you can easily make this crispy baji. One more thing you can do is after steaming the beef (like a cake which is shown in the picture below ), you can cut it into small square pieces & store in fridge and can be used as required ( you will get approx. 25 - 30 small square pc ). Do not forget to moisten the pan with coconut oil so that the mix doesnot stick to the pan & it will help the cake to come out perfectly while flipping it.Also while making batter , please make sure that it is a semi - thick batter which helps to get baji more crispier .Do not make the batter too loose or too thick. Do try this recipe & let us know how it was in

APPLE KUMS

🍎🍏APPLE KUMS🍏🍎 Apple kums / apple pola is almost same like bread banana pola which we have posted recently. It is more like soft & fluffy cake. It is a sweet evening snack  & yes , as it is ramadan it will be a good iftaari dish too. The recipe is very simple & there is nothing much to do for preparation also , just blend everything & steam . But please do take care of the flame as it burns too quickly. Always put the flame in low to medium so that it  cooks properly & once done let it cool in room temperature before flipping it. Do try this recipe & let us know how it was in the comments section & do not forget to subscribe our blog to get updated. SPICY CHICKEN UNNIYAPPAM

Image
SPICY CHICKEN UNNIYAPPAM Unniyappam is a traditional sweet kerala snack . But this unniyappam is not!!😝😝.  This is a spicy unniyappam made of chicken. πŸ—πŸ— . Ummm.....yummy right?? And im sure every πŸ— chicken lover will droool over this unniyappam. The difficulty level of this recipe is medium . But please do keep an eye over the flame because firstly we need to  keep the appachatti ( unniyappam pan) at high flame & then once the batter is poured reduce the flame from high to low - medium , otherwise there is a high chance of burning it. The level of oil which you poured in the appachatti will rise when you pour batter into it. So do consider this while pouring oil into the pan (appachatti ) .And also keep turning the unniyappams when its almost cooked .  Once the unniyappams are cooked it will start to rotate in the oil as it is detached from the sides of the pan & this is the best way to make sure that its fully cookedπŸ˜€πŸ˜€. Drain the excess oil with a tissue paper &
